Neural Wiskott-Aldrich syndrome protein, N-WASP, WASL

Regulates actin polymerization by stimulating the actin- nucleating activity of the Arp2/3 complex. Involved in mitosis and cytokinesis, via its role in the regulation of actin polymerization. Binds to HSF1/HSTF1 and forms a complex on heat shock promoter elements (HSE) that negatively regulates HSP90 expression.

Applications
Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Western Blot: 1:2000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
KLH-conjugated synthetic peptide mapping to a fragment of residues within aa165-198 of the N-terminal region of human WASL.

Supplied as a liquid in PBS, 0.09% sodium azide.
Purity
Purified by Protein A and peptide affinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes human WASL. Species Crossreactivity: mouse, rat.
