MaxLight™650 is a new Far-IR stable dye conjugate comparable to Alexa Fluor™647, DyLight™649, Cy5™ and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection. Absorbance (655nm); Emission (676nm); Extinction Coefficient 250,000.
Applications
Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immnohistochemistry. Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended Dilution
Western Blot: 1:1000 Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin): 20ug/ml. Requires antigen retrieval using heat treatment prior to staining of paraffin sections. Sodium citrate buffer pH6.0 is recommended for this purpose. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Positive Control
Human lymph node tissue.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile (40-50% ) glycerol, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
Immunogen
Peptide corresponding to amino acids 6-20 of human CCR5.
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2. Labeled with MaxLight™650.
Specificity
Recognizes the N-terminal region of the chemokine receptor CCR5, also known as CD195. CCR5 is a receptor for the beta chemokines RANTES, MIP-1alpha and MIP-1beta.
