Roundabout Homolog 1 (ROBO1) is a type I transmembrane protein belonging to the ROBO family, which defines a novel subfamily of immunoglobulin superfamily proteins. ROBO family proteins are evolutionarily conserved receptors that interact with the secreted Slit proteins. ROBO-Slit interactions play an important role in axon guidance across the midline during central nervous system development. ROBO signaling also has a role in tumor angiogenesis and immune responses.
Applications
Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
ELISA: 2-8ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
