A metabolite of the antipsychotic drug Trifluoperazine (TFP). Trifluoperazine is a medication used to treat schizophrenia and anxiety by balancing dopamine levels in the brain, which helps regulate mood, behavior, and thoughts. Trifluoperazine blocks dopamine receptors in the brain and can also depress the release of hormones and affect basal metabolism, body temperature, wakefulness, and more.
