Specifications

A thromboxane derivative that acts as a potent proaggregatory and vasoconstrictor substance. It stimulates activation of new platelets as well as increases platelet aggregation. TXA2 biosynthesis is persistently enhanced in association with several cardiovascular risk factors, including non-insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus, type IIa hypercholesterolemia, polycythemia vera and homozygous homocystinuria.
