| CADM1 is a tumor suppressor part of the immunoglobulin superfamily and has been found to show reduced expression in many different solid tumors. CADM1 has also been found to play a role in the formation of epithelia-like cell structure. Recent research has also linked CADM1 to mediating emotional and social behaviors and motor skills.
