Glutathione S transferases are a family of enzymes that play an important role in detoxification by catalyzing the conjugation of many hydrophobic and electrophilic compounds with reduced glutathione. Based on their biochemical, immunological, and structural properties, the soluble human GSTs are categorized into 4 main classes	alpha, mu, pi, and theta. The amino acid sequence GST is highly conserved in most organisms, including mammals.
Applications	Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution	Western Blot: 0.05ug/ml
	Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability	May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
