| Myosin-2A heavy chain (MYH9) phosphorylation is known to be very important in regulating cell motility and chemotaxis. The suppression of myosin-2A heavy chain expression is strongly associated with osteoclast fusion and multinucleation. Recent research indicates that modifications in the myosin-IIA heavy chain could increase the risk of kidney disease.
