| Ras-related protein Rab-25 is a GTP-binding protein belonging to the Rab family of proteins. RAB25 has been observed to be expressed in kidney, lung and gastrointestinal mucosa, with exclusive expression in epithelial cells. This specific expression has led to the implication that RAB25 has a role as a regulator for vesicular transport associated with epithelia. RAB25 is potentially a selective regulator for transcytotic pathways and apical recycling. Several recent studies have observed a loss of RAB25 in breast cancer tissue and cell lines, and have suggested a potential role for RAB25 as a regulator for Ras induced tumorigenesis. | | | Catalog # | 029594 | | Applications | Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry.
