DYKDDDDK -Tag (D-Tag) antibody detects over-expressed proteins containing the D epitope tag fused to either the amino- or carboxy-terminus of targeted proteins. Epitope tags are usually for the labeling and detection of proteins using immunoblotting, immunoprecipitation and immunostaining techniques. Due to their small size, they are unlikely to affect the tagged protein's biochemical properties. The DYKDDDK epitope tag is widely used to detect expression of recombinant proteins in bacteria, yeast, insect and mammalian systems.

Recommended Dilution	Western Blot: 0.5-4ug/ml

Storage and Stability	May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
