CHST2, GN6ST, Carbohydrate sulfotransferase 2, Galactose/N-acetylglucosamine/N-acetylglucosamine 6-O-sulfotransferase 2, N-acetylglucosamine 6-O-sulfotransferase 1

N-acetylglucosamine-6-O-sulfotransferases, such as CHST2, catalyze the transfer of sulfate from 3-prime-phosphoadenosine 5-prime-phosphosulfate (PAPS) to position 6 of a nonreducing N-acetylglucosamine (GlcNAc) residue (Uchimura et al., 1998 [PubMed 9722682]).

Applications
Suitable for use in ELISA, Indirect Flow Cytometry and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions
Indirect Flow Cytometry: 1:10-1:50 Western Blot: 1:1000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
KLH-conjugated synthetic peptide mapping to a fragment of residues within amino acids 309-335 in the central region of human CHST2, UniProt Accession #NP_004258.2; Q9Y4C5; Q80WV3. Species Sequence Homology: mouse
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2, 0.09% sodium azide.
Purity
Purified by Protein A affinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes human CHST2.
