| CYP11B1 is a member of the cytochrome P450 superfamily of enzymes. The cytochrome P450 proteins are monooxygenases which catalyze many reactions involved in drug metabolism and synthesis of cholesterol, steroids and other lipids. This protein localizes to the mitochondrial inner membrane and is involved in the conversion of progesterone to cortisol in the adrenal cortex. | | | Catalog # | 034421 | | Applications | Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, Flow Cytometry, ELISA | | Recommended Dilution | ELISA: 1:1,000 | | Western Blot: 1:50-100 | | Immunohistochemistry: 1:50-100 | | Flow Cytometry: 1:10-50 | | Storage and Stability | May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
