G2E3, KIAA1333, G2/M phase-specific E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase

E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase which accepts ubiquitin from an E2 ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme in the form of a thioester and then directly transfers the ubiquitin to targeted substrates. Essential in early embryonic development to prevent apoptotic death.

ELISA: 1:1,000 Western Blot: 1:100-500

Storage and Stability

May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.

Immunogen

G2E3 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 226-252 amino acids from the Central region of human G2E3.
