GLDN plays a role in the formation of the nodes of Ranvier along myelinated axons. Probable NRCAM and NFASC/neurofascin ligand which may provide a glial positional clue required for the proper molecular assembly of the nodes of Ranvier (By similarity).

Applications
Suitable for use in Western Blot and ELISA. Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended Dilution
Western Blot: 1:1000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.

KLH-conjugated synthetic peptide mapping to a fragment of residues within amino acids 271-299 in the central region of human GLDN, UniProt Accession # Q6ZMI3; NP_861454.2.
