HSPB6 is associated with actin (see MIM 102540) and modulates smooth muscle relaxation (Tessier et al., 2003 [PubMed 12842460]).

Storage and Stability

May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.

HSPB6 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 98~128 amino acids from the Central region of human HSPB6.
