LYZL1 is involved in the hydrolysis of 1,4-beta-linkages between N-acetylmuramic acid and N-acetyl-D-glucosamine residues in a peptidoglycan and between N-acetyl-D-glucosamine residues in chitodextrins.

ELISA: 1:1,000 Western Blot: 1:100-500
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
LYZL1 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 118-145 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human LYZL1.
