NPTX1 is a member of the neuronal pentraxin family. Human neuronal pentraxin 1 is similar to rat NP1 which is a binding protein for the snake venom toxin taipoxin.

Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
NPTX1 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 330-360 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human NPTX1.
