Inhibits neurotransmitter release by reducing calcium ion currents and increasing potassium ion conductance. Receptor for dynorphins. May play a role in arousal and regulation of autonomic and neuroendocrine functions.

ELISA: 1:1,000 Western Blot: 1:100-500
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
OPRK1 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 181-209 amino acids from the Central region of human OPRK1.
