This gene encodes a zinc finger protein involved in the regulation of c-myc. The symbol MIZ1 has also been associated with PIAS2 which is a different gene located on chromosome 18. [provided by RefSeq].

Applications

Suitable for use in Western Blot and ELISA. Other applications have not been tested.

Recommended Dilution

Western Blot: 1:1000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability

May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.

Immunogen

KLH-conjugated synthetic peptide mapping to a fragment of residues within amino acids 113-142 in the N-terminal region of human ZBTB17.
