ZBTB32 is a DNA-binding protein that binds to the to a 5'-TGTACAGTGT-3' core sequence. May function as a transcriptional transactivator and transcriptional repressor. Probably exerts its repressor effect by preventing GATA3 from binding to DNA. May play a role in regulating the differentiation and activation of helper T cells (By similarity).

Applications
Suitable for use in Western Blot and ELISA. Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended Dilutions
Western Blot: 1:1000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
KLH-conjugated synthetic peptide mapping to a fragment of residues within amino acids 96-125 in the N-terminal region of human ZBTB32.
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2, 0.09% sodium azide.
Purity
Purified by Protein A and peptide affinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes human ZBTB32.
