Contactin/F3, a cell adhesion molecule, is a glycosylphospatidylinositol (GPI)-anchored protein that is expressed in neurons and glia (3). It has been shown to interact with and enhance surface expression of sodium channels Nav1.2 and Nav1.9. Other studies suggest that contactin coimmunoprecipitates with Nav1.3 (3).

Recommended DilutionImmunofluorescence: 1-10ug/ml

Storage and StabilityMay be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
