Epidermal growth factor like repeats are a class of cysteine-rich domains that mediate interactions between proteins of diverse function. EGF domains are found in proteins that are either completely secreted or have transmembrane regions that tether the protein to the cell surface. CRELD1 is the founding member of a family of matricellular proteins.

Storage and StabilityLyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile dH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
