Induces activation of NF-kappa-B and stimulates production of the proinflammatory chemokine IL-8. Proinflammatory cytokine favoring Th2-type immune responses.

Applications
Suitable for use in Peptide ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions
Peptide ELISA: 1:128,000 (detection limit) Western Blot: 0.3-1ug/ml detects ~23kD and ~19kD bands observed in human prostate lysate Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
