The function of this gene has not been specifically defined; however, it is thought to be involved in T cell trafficking. This gene has been localized to 4q21 with INP10, which is also a member of the chemokine family of cytokines.

Biological ActivityDetermined by its ability to chemoattract human peripheral blood T lymphocytes using a concentration range of 10.0-80.0ng/ml.
Storage and StabilityLyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile buffer or dH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
