Murine macrophage inflammatory protein-1 alpha (MIP-1alpha) is an 7.8kD protein containing 69 amino acid residues. It is part of the CC chemokine family and plays an important role in the inflammatory response of blood monocytes and tissue microphages.

Storage and StabilityLyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile dH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
