| ABIN-2, TNFAIP3 interacting protein 2, binds to the COOH-terminal zinc finger domain of A20. NF-kB activation induced by TNF and interleukin-1 is inhibited by overexpression of ABIN-2. The latter also inhibits NF-kB activation induced by overexpression of receptor-interacting protein or TNF receptor-associated factor 2. A-20 binding Inhibitor of Nuclear Factor-kappaB (NF-kB)Activation (ABIN-2) binds to A-20. ABIN-2 interferes with NF-kB activation upstream of the IKK complex and might contribute to NF-kB inhibitory function of A-20. | | | Catalog # | A0004-75D | | Positive Control | mouse heart or lung | | Applications | Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. | | Recommended Dilution | Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. | | Storage and Stability | | | May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. | | CAS Number | n/a | | Clone Type | Polyclonal | | Isotype | IgG | | Host | Rabbit | | Source | Human | | Concentration | As reported | | Form | Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2, 0.02% sodium azide. | | Purity | Purified by immunoaffinity chromatography. | | Immunogen | This antibody was generated by immunizing rabbits with synthetic peptides of human ABIN-2.
