SourceRecombinant corresponding to full length human ACC2 with C-terminal His tag expressed in Baculovirus infected Sf9 cell (NM_001093).
Specific Activity~20 pmoles/min/ug. A 25ul ACC2 reaction is conducted in a buffer containing 30mM HEPES, pH 7.4, 2mM MgCl2, 2mM potassium citrate, 1mM DTT, 100uM ATP, 12mM NaHCO3 and 20uM substrate acetyl-Co-A at RT for 45min ATP reduction is detected using Kinase-Glo Luminescent Kinase Assay Platform.
ApplicationsSuitable for use inthe study of enzyme kinetics, screening inhibitors and selectivity profiling. Other applications not tested.
Recommended DilutionOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and StabilityAliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -70°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -70°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
