| Acrolein is the simplest unsaturated aldehyde. It is produced widely but is most often immediately reacted with other products due to its instability and toxicity. It has a piercing, disagreeable, acrid smell similar to that of burning fat. | | | Catalog # | A0700-01 | | Applications | Suitable for use in ELISA Immunohistochemistry and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested. | | Recommended Dilutions | Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. | | Storage and Stability | Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O, 0.1% merthiolate, 5-10ul of 1N HCl . Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Reconstituted product is stable for 1 month at 4ºC, For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
