Storage and Stability
	May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Immunogen	BALB/C mice were injected with SDS extracted protein from allhuman myocardium.
Specificity	This antibody is specific for alpha and gamma specific actin isomers from skeletal, cardiac and smooth muscle but does not recognize beta and nonsmooth muscle gamma actin isomers. In Western blots, XXX picks up a 42kD protein from skeletal muscle but not from epithelial cell lines. Species Crossreactivity: Crossreacts with Human. Not yet tested in other species.
