| Members of the TGF-beta superfamily exert their biological effects by binding to heteromeric complexes of a type I and a type II serine-threonine kinase receptor, both of which are essential for signal transduction. Activin receptor type IIB is a type II receptor that mediates multiple signals for transforming growth factor-beta (TGF-beta) family members, including Activin, Nodal, Bmp7, Gdf1, Gdf3, Myostatin (Gdf8), and Gdf11. Through alternative mRNA splicing, multiple ActR-IIB isoforms can also be generated. | | | Catalog # | A0856-10D | | Applications | Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot.
