| Acylphosphatase is a small cytosolic enzyme that catalyzes the hydrolysis of the carboxyl-phosphate bond of acylphosphates. Two isoenzymes have been isolated, called muscle acylphosphatase and erythrocyte acylphosphatase, on the basis of their tissue localization. This gene encodes the erythrocyte acylphosphatase isoenzyme. Alternatively spliced transcript variants that encode different proteins were identified through data analysis. | | | Catalog # | A0858-56A | | Applications | Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. | | Recommended Dilution | ELISA: 1:128000 | | Western Blot: 0.01-0.03ug/ml | | Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. | | Storage and Stability | May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. | | CAS Number | n/a | | Clone Type | Polyclonal | | Host | Goat | | Source | Human | | Concentration | As reported | | Form | Supplied as a liquid in Tris-saline, pH 7.2, 0.5% BSA, 0.02% sodium azide. | | Purity | Purified by immunoaffinity chromatography. | | Immunogen | Synthetic peptide corresponding to ACYP1. | | Specificity | Recognizes human ACYP1 at ~15kD in Human Testis lysates (calculated MW of 11.3kD according to NP_001098.1).
