| Produced in goats immunized with purified, NS0-derived, recombinant human Punctin (rhPunctin; aa29-525). Human Punctin specific IgG was purified by human Punctin affinity chromatography. Punctin is a secreted glycoprotein resembling members of the ADAMTS family although it lacks the propeptide region and the metalloproteinase and disintegrin-like domains. | | | Punctin is expressed in adult skeletal muscle and may have important functions in the extracellular matrix. Alternative splicing of the Punctin transcript results in three isoforms. Isoform 1 is the longest and contains the entire isoform 2. Isoform 3 has the same sequence as isoforms 1 and 2 until residue 361, but a unique C-terminal end of 78 amino acids. | | | Catalog # | A0859-62A2 | | Applications | Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunoprecipitation.
