Storage and StabilityLyophilized powder may be stored at 4°C. Stable for 12 months after receipt at 4ºC. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

ImmunogenAdeno-associated virus capsid proteins and virus particles.
SpecificityRecognizes AAV-2. Species Crossreactivity: human and monkey. Reacts with AAV-3. Specifically reacts wtih intact AAV particles, empty and full capsids. Recognizes a conformational epitope of assembled capsids not present in denatured capsid proteins and native but unassembled capsid proteins. Major reaction attributed to aa369-378 of AAV-2 capsids.
