ApplicationsSuitable for use in Immunofluorescence, Flow Cytometry, Western Blot and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended DilutionOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and StabilityMay be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot Freeze at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Quality Control Testing Immunoblot Analysis 2ug/ml of this lot detected phosphorylated Akt1/PKBa in RIPA lysates from mouse NIH-3T3 cells. Immunocytochemistry: 2ug/ml of this lot showed positive immunostaining for phosphorylated Akt1/PKBa in 3T3 cells treated with PDGF (100ng/mL, 20min.). Flow Cytometry: 0.2µg of this lot detected Akt1/PKBa in fixed and permeabilized 3T3, L6, and A431 cells (see data, page two).
