ADH consists of a dimer of identical or nonidentical chains of three types; alpha, beta and gamma. There are 7 different ADH's isozymes in human three belongs to class I: alpha, beta, and gamma, one to class II: pi, one to class III: chi, one to class IV: ADH7 and one to class V: ADH6.
ApplicationsSuitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended DilutionELISA: 1:8000
Western Blot: 1-3ug/ml, observed in human liver lysates on ~38kD bands
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and StabilityMay be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
