ApplicationsSuitable for use in Peptide ELISA and Western Blot. Please note that currently we cannot find an explanation in the literature for the 45kD band we observe given the predicted size of approx. 24kD according to NP_054897. Other applications not tested.
Recommended DilutionELISA: 1:8,000
Western Blot: Preliminary experiments gave bands at both approx 25kD and approx 45kD in Human brain extracts at 0.1ug/ml.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and StabilityMay be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%). Freeze at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
