Beta Amyloid is the major protein component of amyloid cores, neuritic cores and neurofibrillary tangles, such as those seen in Alzheimer’s disease. This antibody will help to identify the presence of beta amyloid.

Applications	Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution	Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin): 1:50. Not suitable for frozen sections.

Positive Control
	Human Alzheimer’s diseased brain. Stains sensile plaque cores, periph- ery and diffuse plaques. Blood vessel wall and neurofibrillary tangles may stain in some cases
Storage and Stability	Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
