Synthetic amyloid b-peptide (aa5-16)	RHDSGYEVHHQK-NH2 represents part of the larger amyloid b-peptide that precipitates as amyloid plaques in the brain of patients with Alzheimer's disease (1). The plaque-related peptides are 40-43aa residues in length (2).
Applications	Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution	ELISA: 1:25,000
	Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Culture Medium	Dulbecco’s modified Eagle’s medium with 10% fetal calf serum
Storage and Stability	May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
