Clone Host Grade Applications
Monoclonal Mouse Purified B
Androgen receptor is an androgen-dependent transcription factor involved in prostate cancer cell growth. It is a 110 kD protein and a member of the steroid/nuclear receptor gene superfamily. The PI3K/Akt pathway regulates AR activity by inducing its phosphorylation. Whether AR activity is enhanced or suppressed has been found to be cell line specific(1).
Catalog #A2281-15
ApplicationsWestern blot: please see reference 1
observed size: ~110 kD
positive control: IGF-1 stimulated LNCaP (prostate cancer) cells
Recommended DilutionOptimal dilution to be determined by the researcher.
