| Tie-1 (human 1138aa; mouse 1134aa) is a type 1 membrane receptor protein specifically expressed in developing vascular endothelial cells. Murine and human Ang-1 are 498aa secreted angiogenic proteins. It is only 60% homologous with Ang-2.
