| CD143 exists in two forms, a 170kD somatic form and a 90kD germinal form. The somatic form is expressed by endothelial cells (especially those of arterioles and lung capillaries), epithehal cells (especially in proximal renal tubules and in the small intestine), by some neuronal cells and variably on some macrophages and T lymphocytes. The germinal form is expressed by spermatozoa. | | | Catalog # | A2295-02E | | Applications | Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. | | Recommended Dilution | Flow Cytometry: Neat.1:10. Use 10ul to label 10e6 cells in 100ul. | | Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. | | Hybridoma | Spleen cells from immunized Balb/c mice were fused with cells of the mouse X36-Ag8-653 myeloma cell line. | | Storage and Stability | May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile glycerol (40-50%), aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. | | CAS Number | n/a | | Clone Type | Monoclonal | | Isotype | IgG1 | | Clone No | 3H534 | | Host | Mouse | | Source | Human | | Concentration | ~0.1mg/ml | | Form | Supplied as a liquid, 0.1% sodium azide, 1% BSA. Labeled with Biotin. | | Purity | Purified | | Immunogen | Human lung CD143 (Angiotensin converting enzyme). | | Specificity | Recognizes human CD143, also known as angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE). Also recognizes active ACE binding to an N-terminal domain epitope different to that recognized by clone 9B9. Species Crossreactivity: monkey | | | Important Note | This product as supplied is intended for research use only, not for use in human, therapeutic or diagnostic applications without the expressed written authorization of United States Biological. |
