| Annexin VII is a member of the annexin family of calcium-dependent phospholipid binding proteins. Annexin VII has molecular weight of approximately 51 kD with a unique, highly hydrophobic N-terminal domain of 167 amino acids and a conserved C-terminal region of 299 amino acids. The latter domain is composed of alternating hydrophobic and hydrophilic segments. Structural analysis of the protein suggests that Annexin VII is a membrane binding protein with diverse properties including voltage-sensitive calcium channel activity, ion selectivity and membrane fusion. | | | Catalog # | A2296-67D | | Description | Recombinant Human Annexin-A7 produced in E.Coli is a non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing amino acids (1-466) and having a total molecular mass of 53.6kD. Recombinant ANXA7 contains T7 tag at N-terminus and is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. | | Applications | • ELISA • MS • Western Blotting | | Stability | Recombinant Annexin-7 although stable at 140C for 1 week, should be stored desiccated below -180C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Please avoid freeze-thaw cycles. | | Molecular Weight | 53.6kD | | Source | E. coli | | Purity | 90% as determined by the analysis by reducing and non-reducing SDS-PAGE coomassie blue staining. | | Concentration | ~0.1mg/ml | | Form | Supplied as a liquid in 10mM Tris, pH 8.0, 0.1% Triton X-100, 0.002% sodium azide and 10mM DTT. | | | Important Note | This product as supplied is intended for research use only, not for use in human, therapeutic or diagnostic applications without the expressed written authorization of United States Biological. |
