| Ah receptor-associated protein (ARA9) is also known as AIP and XAP2. This protein displays structural similarity to the glucocorticoid receptor-associated immunophilin FKBP52. Although they share significant homology, they have distinct cellular roles and biochemical properties. ARA9 is known to affect the potency and efficacy of AHR agonists in the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae as well as having functional consequence on AHR signal transduction. | | | Catalog # | A3290 | | Applications | Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. | | Recommended Dilution | Western Blot: 1:1000. Band is seen at 37kD, representing ARA9 | | Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. | | Storage and Stability | May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%). Freeze at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. | | CAS Number | n/a | | Clone Type | Monoclonal | | Isotype | IgG1 | | Clone No | 3C108 | | Host | Mouse | | Source | Human | | Concentration | Not determined | | Form | Supplied as a liquid. | | Purity | Ascities | | Immunogen | Bacterially expressed human ARA9. | | Specificity | Specific for ARA9 FKBP domain. | | Species Crossreactivity | Human and mouse. | | | Important Note | This product as supplied is intended for research use only, not for use in human, therapeutic or diagnostic applications without the expressed written authorization of United States Biological. |
