| ARAP3, also known as Centaurin-delta-3, is a 1544aa containing protein with an Arf-GAP domain, three PH domains, a Ras-associating domain, a Rho-GAP domain and a SAM (sterile alpha motif) domain. ARAP3 is a phosphatidylinositol-3,4,5-trisphosphate-dependent GTPase-activating protein that modulates actin cytoskeleton remodeling by regulating ARF and RHO family members. It is activated by phosphatidylinositol-3,4,5-trisphosphate (PtdIns(3,4,5)P3) binding and can be activated by phosphatidylinositol-3,4-bisphosphate (PtdIns(3,4,5)P2) binding, albeit with lower efficiency.
