| ARC (apoptosis repressor with CARD), is also known as nucleolar protein 3. Apoptosis is regulated by molecules containing death domains or caspase recruitment domains (CARD). ARC contains a CARD domain, interacts with caspase2 and interacts with and inhibits the activity of caspase8. ARC suppresses apoptosis induced by the cell death receptors Fas, TNFR1 and DR3 and by the cell death adapters FADD and TRADD. It is highly expressed in heart and skeletal tissue and found in low levels in placenta, kidney, liver and pancreas. | | | Catalog # | A3325-01H | | Applications | Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry and Western Blot.
