| ASH1 (achaete-scute complex homolog-like1) is a member of the basic helix-loop-helix (BHLH) family of transcription factors. It activates transcription by binding to the E box. ASH1 plays a role at the early stages of development of specific neural lineages in most regions of the CNS and in the generation of olfactory and autonomic neurons. | | | Catalog # | A3782-01A | | Control peptide for corresponding antibody A3782-01 which recognizes ASH 1 (ACSL1, MASH1) at 25.7kD. Species Crossreactivity | Human and rodent. Synthetic peptide, amino acids 72-84 of human ASH 1 conjugated to BSA. The sequence is 100% homologous in rat ASH 1 from amino acids 67-79 and ~92% homologous in mouse ASH1 from amino acids 65-77. | | Applications | Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot. Other applications not tested. | | Recommended Dilution | Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. | | Storage and Stability | Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute to nominal volume (see reconstitution instructions for peptides) and store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
