| ARID5B belongs to the ARID (A-T rich interaction domain) family of transcription factors. The ARID (A-T Rich Interaction Domain) is a helix-turn-helix motif-based DNA-binding domain, which is conserved in all eukaryotes and diagnostic of a family that includes fifteen distinct human proteins. It shows important roles in development, tissue-specific gene expression and proliferation control. This protein has a nonredundant function during growth and in the development of the reproductive system. ARID5B is essential for accumulation of lipid stores in postnatal life. Northern blot analysis shows expression in mouse lung, heart, small intestine, kidney, muscle, and brain. | | | Catalog # | A3913-35 | | Applications | Suitable for use in Western Blot.
