AUF1 Is a bcl-2 A + U-rich element-binding protein involved in bcl-2 mRNA destabilization during apoptosis.

ApplicationsSuitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended DilutionWestern Blot: 0.01-1ug/ml Detects AUF1 in RIPA lysates from HeLa nuclear extract and A431 cells. HeLa nuclear extract cell lysate was resolved by electrophoresis, transferred to nitrocellulose and probed with A4165-04 (0.1ug/ml). Proteins were visualized using an IgG (HRP) goat anti-rabbit and a chemiluminescence detection system.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Positive Control IncludedH1838: HeLa nuclear extract. Add an equal volume of Laemmli reducing sample buffer to 5-10ul of extract and boil for 5 minutes to reduce the preparation. Load 20ug of reduces lysate per lane for minigels.
