Clone Host Grade Applications
Monoclonal Mouse Ascites E B IH IF
Axl, an Axl type tyrosine kinase, is characterized by an extracellular domain resembling cell adhesion molecules and an intracellular conserved tyrosine kinase domain. Axl has been reported to induce cell proliferation and transformation, and is important in the vasculature functions. Expression of AXL has been seen in many cancers, including those of the lung, breast, stomach, thyroid, liver, and more. Two protein isoforms of Axl have been documented. It has been suggested that Gas6/Axl signaling may impact on the response of blood vessels to injury, thereby contributing to the development of atherosclerosis and/or restenosis.
