Anthrax toxin plays a major role in the pathogenesis of anthrax. Virulent strains of Bacillus anthracis produce a complex exotoxin with 3 distinct antigenic components	the edema factor (EF), the protective antigen or binding domain (PA), and the lethal factor (LF).
Applications	Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution	Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Recommended Pair	Suitable for use as the capture or solid phase antibody.
	Matched to B0003-05D or B0003-05E as the detection or conjugate (label) antibody.
Hybridoma	Sp2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice.
Storage and Stability	May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
